Figure out how to access and change your name, icon, and other features on your profile page.
If you feel like your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or default profile picture doesn't fit the Toucan vibe, you can change that! You can also change how your name appears, write a short description about yourself, add your website URL and links to your social media accounts! All you have to do is click on your icon in the very top right corner. That takes you to this page:
Change your profile picture to whatever you’d like. But remember that other people will see it. So please, nothing obscene. The same goes for your name and the 'About You' section. We recommend that you actually display your real name — obviously. That way, people can identify you as your wonderful self when they encounter you at an event!
To change or add an icon image simply click on the 'Upload Image' button! If you’re editing your photo, you’re most likely going to have to crop it to fit into our cute little circles. Our cropping tool takes care of that for you, for the most part. You just have to move it to the spot that you prefer.
To add your social media accounts click on the button that says 'Add your social media links'. Don't forget this is optional! To make it extra easy for you I've added a picture below :)
Once you've clicked on the button, a pop-up window will appear. You can add the link to your Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, or Instagram account. Once you have filled in the links that you want to add to your profile, click on the purple 'Save' button. If you don't want to add any, click the 'Cancel' button.
When you change anything about your account, click the purple “Update” button in the bottom left. When you do it will show you what your profile will look like to other users in the event. To see your updated profile scroll up and it is located at the top of the page.
If you wish to log out, the “Logout” button is right next to the “Update” button. Hit that, and you’ll be sent back to the Sign In page. Full circle! (No pun intended)
