Awesome! You have an occasion, now let's get it set up.
The good news is, hosting an event is super easy. The bad news is that… Wait, there is no bad news!! All you need to do to host an event is click the “Create event” button.
You’ll be taken to a new page where you can fill out information regarding your event. This is your opportunity to make a good impression.
Step 1: Fill out the basics of your event. Give your event a snazzy name and set the date & time of your event.
Step 2: (Optional) Get creative!
- Write a description for the event.
- Set a cover photo for your event.
- Add your logo to the space.
- Set a photo for the event entry page (which all of your attendees will see when they check if their cameras & mics are working).
Step 3: (Optional) Choose a Theme for your event. There are different color schemes available for you to choose from. It all depends on the vibe of the occasion.
Step 4: (Optional) If you wouldn't mind telling us a bit more about your event (like what type of event you are hosting and how many people you expect to attend), it really helps us learn more about our platform. Thanks!
Make sure you set the right time for your event. Your event space will open up a little bit before the event is supposed to start, just in case there are any special people you want to hang out with in the space before everyone else shows up. Just like in real life.
Once you plan the event, you’ll be able to see it in “Your events” under the “Upcoming” tab.
From here, you can easily invite your friends to your event by clicking the button in the bottom right-hand corner.
